I’vThe fact that there are mandates coming demonstrates that truth better than any trend we’ve seen.

By his reasoning, the JNJ vac is somewhat similar to a flu vaccine, it's 'build' or 'footprint' has been around for a while. Like the Pfizer and Moderna shots, the Johnson & Johnson shot is based on the virus's genetic instructions for building the spike protein. But unlike the Pfizer and Moderna shots...which store the instructions in RNA...the Johnson & Johnson shot stores the instructions in DNA. The modified adenovirus enters the cell and travels to the nucleus where it injects this DNA. Antigen transcription... where it’s read and copied into messenger RNA...takes place in the nucleus and then nuclear export occurs, via that messenger RNA, and travels to the cell cytoplasm where’s it’s then translated into spike protein synthesis. Those spike proteins then travel to the cell surface where they are recognized by the immune system.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Medicine being a very heavily regulated industry those are one in the same… You’ve decided that 1 dr visit is no to just statistically significant (it isn’t) but a reliable basis upon which to debunk overwhelming trends through culture. Been prayin for a friend of a friend who is in this late 30s and just went on the vent at the local hospital. He wasn’t vaccinated. Went into the hospital w covid about 5-6 days ago and just kept getting worse. Rough estimate from a physician friend said, in his experience, only 10-15% of patients who go on the vent are surviving the Delta variant. I understand people’s hesitancy about the vaccine, but at this point, I would fear the virus much more than the shot. The shot wont guarantee you wont get it, but it may make the difference in how bad of a case you get. If your over 40, its a no brainer in my opinion. That being said, I have no intention of vaccinating my 15 year old daughter at this point. Just no significant risk for her.
