Headed out tomorrow to New Mexico. My friend here put his daughter in for an Arizona youth tag…where I don’t know, only that it was a highly coveted tag. Her First time elk hunting and I believe she’s about 14-15 or so.

Just saw the pic tonight. Either a clean 6x6 or 7x7….I was in too much shock to count points. Measured in the 390+ range. Just an unbelievable bull.

Congrats to all this year who made a hunt…. Killed the first legal bull I saw after thinking it over about 2 seconds…. 308 hand load with a 168 federal trophy bonded tip.

Sir, Had to drop through Albuquerque to put my FIL on a plane to MI, and I went home via I- 20-10… If the invite is still an option, Wife and I are headed back to look for a new place out west and will stop for a visit…

Thanks,
Lee

I could have killed 3-4 raghorns yesterday when after mule deer. Elk doesn't start until Thursday.

It is going to be a good couple of weeks...
