My kids kill deer mostly with ARs. The biggest issue I have is chambering quietly. Compressing the plunger and riding the extractor over the rim while seating the bolt slowly enough to avoid a loud clack is difficult to do consistently.

Obviously loading away from the hunting area is the best bet. We climb ladders most of the time. As we are in no danger of drawing fire from the enemy there is no need to risk climbing with a round in the chamber.

Has anyone had good results modifying bolt parts to make it easier to seat the bolt while maintaining reliable extraction?

I've never been able to get up a ladder stand quieter than I can close an AR bolt!

I press in on the bolt while nudging it forward with the assist. It works mosttimes.

What is your surefire ninja technique?

He doesn't have one, or need one. He's saying that the noise you make climbing up to the stand is much louder than that of closing the bolt. If the deer doesn't leave because of your climbing noise, the noise of the bolt isn't going to startle it, either.

Nonsense. It's typical nonsense for 24hr, but still nonsense.

I just hold on to the charging handle as the bolt goes forward.

Me too, get the bolt head up to the case in the pipe with the CH and push on the assist. Head slips over case. Want it quieter yet keep a thumb on the bolt and push on it at same time as assist.
