Bullshit movie.

Captive bolt wouldn't blow out a lock like that.

"Silenced" everything. "Poof", lol.

The old rag in the gas tank bullshit.

Knows the layout and inventory of a drug store he's never been in before.

First motel scene, the mexs shoot unsuppressed full auto for 3 days, and nobody notices.

Totals car, breaks arm, walks away, nobody cares.

Dude, no ending? There's entire Reddit sub-forums set up around the question, did Anton Chigurh kill Llewelyn's wife, Carla Jean?

Jag,

If you think 2007 is hard, wait til you catch up to the rest of us.

p/s take your money out of real estate, it's going to tank next year.

p/p/s in 9 years your hero and the savior of the free world is going to be a lifelong Democrat, tax cheating, serial adulterer from New York City.

You can thank me later.....

Reminded me of the town I grew up in not too far from where it was set. Lots of cartel activity out there back then.

IME new TV sets having poor quality sound systems. There are headphones available that integrate well and solve fugged up ears. Don’t ask how I know.

Try your Google-foo on Artiste headphones.

This movie is very faithful to the book. Basically every single bit of dialogue was straight out of the book. A few things were cut, but almost nothing was added that wasn’t in the book. The biggest difference in the book and the movie is that the book is much more about the sheriff. He is the main character and he narrates the entire thing.

The biggest firearms goofs with the movie were that it was set in 1980 and Llewelyn was hunting antelope with a heavy barreled laminated stocked Remington 700 and twisting turrets. And then the suppressed shotgun that Chigurh used was composite stocked 11-87.

Llewelyn’s ending is abrupt in the movie. Since he is the main character, it’s odd. In the book, he is just part of the story being told by the sheriff.
