Has anyone shot coyotes with this combo yet, whether factory or handloads> Have read where heavier bullets have caused alot of runners...

This doesn't answer the question, but I've had excellent results with using the VMax bullets in 22 and 6mm calibers on coyotes. The VMax bullets in the weight and caliber you're asking about may be different, and I've never used them. I've always thought of the VMax bullets as being strictly for varmints, so I'd be surprised if the 95's were any different from the lighter ones in that aspect.
My coyote bullet in the 6.5 CM is the 107 grain Sierra TMK. So far, no runners, just DRT.

Not in the 6.5 CM, but I've shot dozens of coyotes with that bullet in the 260. All died promptly. I've also lung shot a few whitetail does with that bullet in the 260 and they all died promptly too.
Federal catalogs the 95 grain VMax as a 6.5 CM factory load if you want to try them.
The only coyotes that I've shot with a 6.5 CM were killed with the Winchester/Olin 125 grain Deer Season XP factory loads.

Good question, I have never used them but have been considering buying some as they are practically the only varmint 6.5 bullet regularly available. I really like the 90 grain TNT though and have nothing but good things to say about it.

in 6.5 bore... we have available : 1. 90 TNT Speer 2. 90 Varmaggeddon from Nosler 3. 95 V Max from Hornady
and discontinued, but still around 4. 85 HP Sierra 5. 100 SP Hornady
There still is : 6. 100 HP Sierra 8. 100 gr Ballistic Tip 9. 100 gr AMAX and ELD. Match
all are good on coyotes and when it comes to deer, certainly will do the job on Blacktails here in Oregon.... and Antelope also...

my dad was a fan of a 100 grain bullet in the 264 win mag. No coyote ever argued with them. Of corse he wasnt after the fur either. I think your 6.5 will have no issues and possibly be a bit too much in terms of pelt damage.

I have bought my recent stuff off gunbroker rick....some Nosler ammo with the 70 Varmageddon , some Nosler 95 BT, but did buy some Hammer 70HH off their website to try.
