Joe should've kept energy independence and rebranded it.
But to please the very small number of true zealots he dashed it.
Apparently revenge politics are more important.

A town about 12 miles away is having a diesel war. 3.59/gal. Everywhere else around here is 3.89 or higher.

My pickup and transfer tank holds 125 gallons of diesel.

Last week I filled up at $2.89...

Yesterday it was $3.19.

If it keeps up at that rate, what will it be next year? Or year 4 of the Biteme presidency? eek

It's great news for the commodity speculators.

I don't think the oil companies are going to jump the gate too fast with all the new Biden regulations on them, and shutdowns on public land drilling and permits being rescinded.

Biden curtailed a lot of the domestic oil production. There for foreign production and oil field work will see the lion share of the increase in production.

I paid 5.059 for 91 octane in Vacaville CA Chevron last Friday. Most 91 octane is 4.999 here in CA.

Bought diesel today at $3.15/gal. Last week I paid $2.79. Can't wait to travel to Colorado next month for the third season elk hunt.

Remember the old joke about doubling the value of a Yugo. Now it's tripling. Fill the gas tank.

Yugo's got great mileage when being towed.

You must be very young or else you never bought gasoline in 2006/ 2007.

The GW Bush years were the highest gasoline I can recall- $4.50/ $4.65.

I'm going to build a bike truck or add a trailer to my bike. That's an electric bike with a Bosch drive. I commuted over 14 years and now have retired. So I will still have to ride a bike as much as possible. Can't afford hight prices for corn gas and even higher for real gas. Good luck guys. Be Well, RZ.

San Bernardino and Riverside counties along I15 is $3.99 $4.19 for regular so 91 should be about 20 cents a gallon more.

Highest I remember was just about $1,200, the last time diesel was close to $5. The international had twin 150 gallon tanks, and yes, that hurt.
