Earlier this year, Governor DeSantis infused Florida’s 15 seaports with $250 million in stimulus relief to help offset the impacts experienced as a result of the pandemic. This stimulus is in addition to other port infrastructure and connectivity investments made in Florida to increase our capacity and ability to move cargo and passengers around the world – Florida continues to invest in the infrastructure to become the pier to the world.

Ron continues to be a shining example of what our politicians should strive for. Actually serving the people and making life easier rather than serving themselves and making life harder on the citizens.

the big back up with unloading container ships is mostly with the largest kind. Those of 15K TEU and more. Only Miami can handle even a 15K TEU ship. Those behemoths stacked up in San Diego probably could not unload in FL anyway. Even if they could transit the Panama Canal, the distance would be 5 thousand miles, the time about two weeks. The biggest ships though, can't go through the canal, so they would have to travel around South America. Probably would take well over a month. Maybe more.
Then there is the problem with stevedore help available and trucks available. Or not.
If a lot of the smaller ships would divert to the East Coast, that would help a lot. Looking out the back window of the condo this morning, there were only two smallish container ships at the port of Miami. Those only go to the islands.

The solution is to use Nukes to make several more ports ala "The Firecracker Boys" along CA coast, starting with SF, . Besides creating ports, it would eliminate concerns over truck emissions, and you wouldn't have to light up your Christmas tree or yard lights, thus saving much energy down the line.

CA would lose Reprehensitives in Congress, and if it was planned correctly, The Circus Court could be restructured more advantageously.

A Trump/DeSantis ticket would be the best! But I sure would hate to loose the best governor in the nation from my home state.

DeSantis is absolutely a great man and a wise pick for POTUS himself!

I'd like to see DeSantis run for President, At the moment, he'd get my vote.

I would love to see him debate any Democrat. He would get my vote.

Then after his 8 years are up he can go on the Supreme Court.

DeSantis needs to stay right where he is. The most powerful and influential Governor in America.

Running for President is a guaranteed loss. Whomever gets t he Republican nomination will lose, the same way Trump lost, the fraud has not been fixed and is growing.

The RNC is backing Liz Cheney, Murkowski and the rest of the RINO Never-Trumpers. The RNC has about as much respect for DeSantis as they do for Trump, maybe less.

Taking DeSantis away from FL would be a Yuge Mistake.
