This is for my oldest son.

Looking for a tented camp with buffalo, gembuck, bushbuck, red hartabeast for under 20K in country not to include shipping and packing trophies. I know this trophy list is a problem.
Any suggestions to look into. Thanks in advance.

I hunted out of a tent camp with Dirk Debod in the Kalahari Desert in Namibia. Everything was 1st Class and the hunting was great. Craig Boddington has also multiple times and reccomends him highly. He didn't have buffalo where I hunted but I understand he does in another area.

You are looking for a trophy list which from what I recall does not have a lot of natural overlap ; the Gemsbok and Bushbuck require differing habitat.

A good quality buffalo hunt is going to cost $20,000 with the other animals adding several thousand dollars more.

The parameters of your request has limited your responses.

Lots of truth here. Tent camps are generally not on managed game ranches where they can pile in all kinds of species that naturally don't inhabite the same area. Tent camps generally are done in places where you are hunting mostly game natural to that area and as you mentioned some on the list do not overlap. When I hunted the Kalahari Desert out of a tent camp the predominate game animals were Gemsbok and Springbok. We had to drive a long ways to large ranches to hunt Kudu, Impala and Eland (which I wanted)

Truth be told most of the safaris are not tent camps anymore. Most are based out of lodges because the hunters want the comfort...and want to bring their wives...who REALLY want the comfort. The Safari operators base their business on what the clients want. And most of the rich dudes in the Dallas Safari Club (and especially their wives) want luxury lodges. It is getting rare to find a true tent camp.
