I did not draw a tag, but my buddy did. It was very hot and animals were sparse, but we finally found a lone bull and managed to get above him. My buddy made a fine 300 yd shot with his 300 Win Mag and 180 partitions.

Cooked up an Oryx roast last night. Sous Vide for six hours and finished on the joe at 600. Fine eats.

Fine eating for sure. Axis is my personal fave, followed closely by oryx. They say eland is right up there too but I've never eaten any.
