What's out there folks ?

Thinking wood or composite will be fine for my needs rather than the exotics.

Thanks all.

What's out there? Everything. Virtually anything you can imagine is being made into 1911 handles.

Personally, I have oversize wood double diamonds on all mine, but I'm old fashioned. wink

I personally like Herretts skip line checkered grips. They are just smooth enough that wearing them under a shirt and against my skin all day does not rub me raw like a sharp set of checkered grips will, yet they offer enough traction that when gripped they offer good recoil control.
