I have been a fan of Lapua brass for decades, I use it in everything they make brass for.
It is frustrating that they make brass for obscure schitt like 8X57IRS but not some of the most popular cartridges ever like the 300 Winchester Magnum........................until now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lapua waited more than half a century until 2021 to introduce the 300 Win Mag to it's line up, where were they 30 years ago when I needed them and bought a lifetime supply of Federal ?????????? Thanks for nothing !!!!!!!!!

I’m sure the new brass is unobtanium currently but would sure like to get some too. Been using old WW that was fair, but some have been reloaded 12x. Bought some Norma ammo during the obamanation for brass but would like to try the 300 WM Lapua.

I started a thread a few years ago about all the off-beat cartridge brass that Lapua offers and nothing whatsoever for many proven popular cartridges .
When they made 221 Fireball I about keeled over

I'm a huge fan of Lapua and also a huge fan of European Metric cartridges. I use Lapua for 6.5Creed, 8x57, and 223rem. What's amazing to me is that they produce brass for every major European cartridge except the 7x57 mauser.

I assume they only produce brass for the cartridges they think will sell the most volume or are the most popular whether they are popular in the US or EU.

I'd be a buyer if they did.

IME, Federal 300Win Mag brass is good for 3-4 firings and the primer pockets are toast, so, maybe you don't have a lifetime supply, or maybe you do.

Honestly the Peterson long brass seems the most attractive for Win Mag. I’m still new to loading for it, but the headspace grew .014” on the brass I’m using so I’m just waiting for case head failure. Peterson long brass seems to reduce that incidence and is of reputed quality.

The case is designed to stretch at the shoulder and it will not separate.
The headspace didn’t grow either, the headspace is held to .220” from the case head face to the front of the belt, plus .003” .where do you guys read this BS?

Cheers.

The fit between 300 Win chambers and new brass is often quite sloppy. The Peterson long brass is a nice idea.

Back in the early 00's Lapua made 300 win mag brass. In the past they also made 7mm rem mag brass.

Not only are they bastards, but they're dirty rat bastards!

In a perfect world, Lapua would make every brass known to mankind. My heart goes out to those of you left out in the Lapua cold, it really does. For me though, they happen to make the rifle brass I use the most: .223, 6.5x55, and .30-06. Aside from their utter dimensional quality, it also lasts forever as I don't try to squeeze the nth degree of performance out of my stuff. Now if they would only offer it in .22 Hornet my life would be complete.

Was hoping to pick up some 300 WM brass this spring when it came out. Turns out everyone else in the shooting community had the same idea. I'll be patiently waiting for this brass to become available.
