Anyone know where I may be able to buy a breach plug for this? Not having a lot of luck finding one online. I have one but it's getting pitted. Looking for a backup. Thanks.

Good luck! I tried to buy a spare and they are going on eBay for almost as much as the gun is worth. I’ll probably just scrap it if the breech plug becomes unusable.

Should be a good shooter. Mine loves two purposed pellets and a 250 grain Hornady or Barnes savored bullet.

Don't know why I thought he was asking about a wrench, maybe because I had to locate mine yesterday.

Thanks guys. I did some more searching and you're right Tom, wicked expensive! Think I'll just scrap the gun also if it becomes unusable.

Crazy prices! It blows my mind that it doesn’t share a thread pattern with anything other than the woods rifle.

I really don’t care for the open breech, it’s usually snowing/sleeting here during muzzleloader season. Also, the primers do a number on any scope you put on it. I’ve tried various covers, but the 209 primers tend to destroy them.

Anyways, it’s a good shooting rifle, hopefully the breech plug lasts a long time!
