Scenars must have harder lead alloy than some others. The jacket is thin, looks about like a VLD, but holds together better. I get exits on WT’s with 123 gr. Scenars out of my Creed. I use 139’s in my Swede, those exit, too.

Tell Pat (Scenarshooter) that it’s not Kosher to hunt big game with “target” bullets.

I’ve killer nearly 200 deer with the 147 ELDM

I didn’t stop at 25 or 50 or 100 for a reason…

147’s around 3125 fps from my 6.5 Gaps have accounted for me last 3-4 deer. Inside of 300 yds I don’t expect an exit and purposely keep them away from front shoulders. Much past 300 yds and they tend to exit with golf ball sized holes.

Going to use the 143 eld-x in my Gap this year as that’s what was available.

what barrel length is your GAP? What powder are you loading?
I load the 147 ELDM in mine and never had a shoulder problem, but I launch them at 2965. RL26. I get exits off shoulder as close as 75 yards.
