We have had a really good upland season so far. Finn has been out about 20 times on some great fall walk abouts for grey partridge, ruffled grouse, sharptails and pheasants. Northern Alberta is release sites for pheasants and with these closing the end of next week we will be taking a couple of trips down south in November to search for both release and wild birds.

Glad to hear your UGB season is going well, and nice pics!

Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession.

That is a Yildiz -- aluminum reciever --- so a light weight 12 ga (under 6 lbs) for a day out chasing pheasants or sharpies. It looks good and functions well but is not a high end O/U ($$$) so I do not worry about the memory nicks on the stock.

Not a gun for sporting clays or trap where you are shooting muliple boxes of shells over the course of an hour or two -- your shoulder will tell you that.
