My first, and favorite camo, was army surplus store woodland camp. Really it’s all you need, and not just for the camo, but the cargo space.

Although I have never seen a face so pale that the face paint went sea foam green....

I'm pretty sure that's not because I'm whiter than the driven snow, but because it was at Camp Lejune, and was probably 110% humidity and it was sweating off me.

Woodland camo didn't work so well everywhere. Then again, basic olive drab wasn't great even in the home of some of the best olives on the planet.

Ones we had were made out of that ripstop fabric. Which was an oximoron. And had the slanted pockets on the utility blouse.
