To Target-6pt #16563647 10/26/21 Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 26,469 Blue Ridge Mtns-Smokey Mtns R Raeford OP Campfire Ranger OP Raeford Campfire Ranger R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 26,469 Blue Ridge Mtns-Smokey Mtns I have found a buck to target on my property. This guy started showing up a couple of weeks ago on 2 different cams that are within 200 yards of each other. Don't think I've ever targeted a 6 pt before. This is one of the better pics we have[on sons cam]. It's standing about 50 yards from my favorite box blind, and with rain forecast for Saturday's Virginia MZ opener I'm sure that is where I'll be most of the day. FJB & FJT

Be cool to get another there w/brows. Have 6 weeks total between MZ and rifle to get after it.[we received a 2 week extension to rifle this year due to exploding #'s]. I saw the spike one time, he had what looked to be a 15" or so spread and mass in the beams very similar. FJB & FJT

I would be happy shooting mature six’s every year.

This guys brother/son/cousin popped out in front of our house @ about 7 this AM. He worked a scrape that larger buck made last Saturday. Nearly identical in antler size. So far just crappy cell pics from about 100 yds of both. Going to move some cameras around this evening. FJB & FJT
