My neighbor kid bought a Savage Axis Bushnell scope/rifle package deal and couldn't figure out how to sight it in. 39 years old and his first big game rifle. Fired 23 rounds the day before and said he was still a foot to the right but elevation was good. Ask him if he ran out of adjustment on the scope or what? Nope. Blank stare.

We take it out and it's 8" low and 2" left. Showed him how to run it up and over. He acted like he had no idea how it worked even though he'd just been out the day before. He fired a few over his pack and was close so I asked him if I could try it. He moved it 5 clicks left and handed it to me.

104 yards. Shoots to the edge of the black bullseye. I hand the rifle to him. He shoots it to edge of bullseye.

BIG SMILE and a happy guy. Fun rifle to shoot, no recoil. I may have to think about one. Or rebarrel something cool to 350. Anybody do a rebarrel to 350, any feeding issues to deal with? Gotta say kinda fun to shoot. Looks like a slightly larger 30 carbine round.

It's a fun round to play with. The best thing is it can be had in any type of rifle, ar15, bolt, single shot. Any .223 bolt rifle can be rebarreled or rebored to 350 legend. I have a Ruger American Ranch with the mag that sticks way down below the bottom of the rifle. Wish I could get a mag that sat flush. Otherwise, she's a peach. Winchester ammo not so good. Hornady or handloads much better. It's like having a .357 max that can be a repeater and use factory ammo.

I bought a CVA Scout in 350 legend. 16” barrel. Put a 1-4x Vortex I had laying around on it. It will cloverleaf 3 round groups with 180 gr or 170 gr factory ammo. It shoots better than I do.

Just traded into an Axis II, dropped a 4x40 on it and I’m going to test some 170’s soon.

Fireball, this is a simple one, I hate plastic guns so I bought a older Weatherby 223, sent it JES and bingo I have a straight wall deer legal cartridge. In that gun there is zero felt recoil and after if a rounds thru the barrel it shoot very nice groups.

Shot mine with H110 and 170’s yesterday. After a bore sight I got it on steel, walked it down for a couple of rounds and then shot 3 on paper under 1” at 110yds. I loaded up 3 more and fired them at the same target. All 6 rounds were 1.25” so I figure I’ll load up some for deer season and drag the 350 around some.

John, I thought I was supposed to find the action? I haven't even thought about it yet. What are we doing with the project, you tell me.

Well until Friday, I am hunting my ass off, missing the first two weeks of the season....

But I have two 350 Legends on Axxis 2, actions.... and a pair of 17 Fireball barrels, of the same length and profile sitting here....

Hi, I'm new here on this site. I bought a 350 legend barrel and put it on an AR 15 (Bushmaster). I first bought factory rounds in various loads cause I needed the cases. I started with 170 gn Soft points using Lil Gun for fuel. I've gone through that fast. I like to shoot alot! I just loaded up a bunch of 165 FTX. Anyway I have some Leverevolution and Hornady is selling the 165 FTX
W/ Leverevolution but I can't find any load data for there factory rounds. Could anyone help me out? Thank you.

If there’s no data for a cartridge with any certain powder, it’s because that combination isn’t a suitable one. I didn’t notice “Leverevolution” on the box for that load, but even if it’s there, it doesn’t mean that’s the powder used. Ammo companies usually use powders (or powder lots) not commonly available to handloaders. It’s very rare for ammo companies to put the load info on the box; IIRC Hornady did briefly for the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Legend data I've seen is similar to the type of powders used in the 300 Blackout... like AA 1680 for example.

Look at 358 MGP if you handload.
