Seems like I remember that was the very first song MTV ever played. But, I’m so old I could be wrong!

I'm so old I remember having a phone on a party line. Along with the test pattern late, late show on TV.

Regular naps prevent old age - Espcially if you take them while driving.

I'm also so old I remember turning on the car radio/home radio/TV and waiting for it to " warm up". So the tubes would do their job.

I remember going down to the country to visit Great Uncle Roger and Aunt Mae
Going into the farm house the first room on the left had nothing but shotguns
leaning against the wall, all double barrel, all 12ga.

All the dogs were coon dogs or rabbit hounds

All the vehicles were pick-up trucks, except the one Uncle Roger drove,
it was a 38' Chevy

There boys Billy and Pat paid $50 for everything they bought
$50 for the shotguns, $50 for the hound dogs, $50 for the pick-ups

That's what they told me at the time, true dat!

I am so old....I rode to town with my neighbors kids in the back of the truck that had a 6 foot high cattle pen in the bed....and we used to climb up it while going down the road.

Looked like the back of this one all the way around and a few feet taller!!

When I was a kid - my dad let me take off and walk through 120 acres of woods to access the town dump with 10/22's and a brick of 22lr in tow to shoot things. Old TV's, rats, bottles etc. Anything interesting.

No supervision, no return time, few rules and I was 8 years old.

Later as a teen I had 2 rules

1. Call if you're not coming home that night
2. Don't bother calling from jail

Used 1 all the time, never used 2.

"If you find your way into jail, you can find your way out!!"

Had those same rules at my house...
