There’s a downside to four generations of Mexicans living in the same house?
my kids all live on their own and have good jobs, the only piece of chit living here is my old lady's son, if I had my way I'd kick them out and sell the house but my dad depends on my old lady to take care of him. I couldn't do it and work.
Might consider Hospice for your Dad if you haven’t already done so.
Congratulations on that grand baby. Much to be thankful for with that.
I would club my old man to death before I put him in hospice.
No need to club your Dad to death. Hospice comes to your/his home regularly for the patient, the medicine is free. The patient can recover and go off of Hospice then go back on its services at a later date if things recur.
It’s not at all what it used to be. You might want to check out what I’ve said here for yourself.

The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)

Hospice will provide a hospital bed for your Dad in your home. I forgot to mention that earlier.
people can be in hospice at home, depending on what ails them.
Wife and mother were in hospice care here at home. They were good people. And I could not have done it all by myself. They both looked forward to the folks coming in daily.
