I was using 72hrs. of IMR 4831 under 180gr Sierra Gameking. Ran out of that bullet and could not find any more. I did find Speer Hot Cor in 180gr so I bought those. Used the same powder charge but the groups tightened up.

I’m using 81 gr. of H1000 with 180 gr Accubonds on some FC brass from old factory ammo used to shoot. 3/4” at 100 yards when I do my part.

That load works really well in my 300.

My son got a Weatherby 300. We went to 69gr and it touched holes at 100 with the 180gr Sierra. 1st load I tried.

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

I was going to try 220 grain Hornady SP bullets for practice, but so far no luck on accuracy.

300 Win Mag Remington 700 200 Nosler Partition 9 ½ M 74.1Grains RE26 0.66 MOA
300 Win Mag Remington 700 180 Hornady 9 1/2M 79 H1000 1.00 MOA
300 Win Mag Remington 700 180 Nosler Partition WLRM 80 H1000 1.03MOA

I also got good groups with RE 26 and 220 grain partitions.

I prefer classic.

I plan on trying that load as well. I have a few loads with Ramshot Magnum and 180 TTSX’s to try out. I’m using new Sig brass Thai go around.

30 + elk with the 300 WM, using a 180 Partition, and 72 gr of H-4350. Distances from 20 yards out to 550 or so. Never lost any but have had a few walk a ways. Great accuracy, out of a Post 64 Model 70. My primary rifle from 1981 up until 2010 or so.

70 gr RL23 on top off a 200 gr Partition sparked by a CCI250 in WW brass works for me.

I meant 200 gr Partition on top off 70 gr of RL23 in the previous post. I think I was half asleep when I wrote that.

WW brass with CCI250 primers. Very consistent sub MOA accuracy with a few 3 shot groups under 1/2”. Velocity is 2840 fps out of a 24” Ruger M77 Mkii

I tried out the Ramshot Powders "Magnum" in my Bergara B14 Hunter and Barnes 175 LRX. In RWS brass I started at 85gr and worked up to 87gr with no issues. I'm running over 3150 easily. I used 73gr R23 with it for a solid 3080 before. Gotta love a 300WM!

Here is another, that works really nice in my 300-W.M. 78 grains H-4831
CCI or Fed. Mag primer.
Winchester brass.

It's less than MOA in my rifle. I hope it works well for you.

I have this to try with some Norma brass.

Take care.
