OP STRSWilson Campfire Tracker Joined: Sep 2021 Posts: 3,987 Georgia	I was web stalking a few gun and hunting forums that I used to frequent. I was amazed at the lack of traffic on them. Most seem to have 5 or 6 prolific posters (many with very liberal/progressive views) and a smattering of other participants. But overall the traffic is way, way down from several years ago. Is the discussion forum trend waning? Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum

They are banging away at short range targets and steel with Glocks and ARs. If they have a long rifle of any sort it is a tactical setup. Nothing wrong with any of that, but it is what it is. There has been a big generational shift towards tactical type firearms, and most of the kids into that stuff aren't interested in hunting forums. They hang out on Instagram, not on gun forums.

Notice the complete lack of any automotive advertising by Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, ect. One would think the truck manufacturers would be trying to entice hunters and the shooting public to buy their products.
