Hello.

Thinking about the ones that attach to a drill. I got a desalt brushless with Handel and a ton of batteries.

Want to try to buy American thinking K drill.

What say U?

Tanks in advance

K drills from what I've seen work ok. A guy still needs 2 handles on the drill though, when the auger binds and stops there is a lot of torque on the drill. I built a sub for my mora auger and that's what I found out have seen plenty of k drills in action on the ice. Mb

If you already have a good hand auger, a drill adapter is a lot cheaper than buying a whole new dedicated bit.

I've got one of the Kovac adapters and used it with both Mora and Lazer bits with good results. I prefer using the Mora, though. The Lazers are real grabby when you're getting to the breakthrough point at the bottom of the holes.

I lost my hand auger off the flat bed truck many moons ago.

I got a 10 inch jiffy gas auger I ain’t run in two years.

Clear spring foods sold out to Michelle Pfizer’s husband….they have donated tons of tommie trout to Idaho fish and game……

Ice fishing this year should be muey Beuno!

Where will they put them?
My favorite reservoirs are dry, (in magic valley), so I'm probably only going to fish Cascade (which is hit and miss). I live in Nampa, so I'm not interested in places more than 150miles away.

My kids bought me a 6" Eskimo Pistol Bit last year - love it! It replaced my hand-powered Mora.
I use a cheap Rigid 1/2" brush-type without side handle. Drilled a lot of holes with it last year.

Google Maps says it is 183 miles from my doorstep. But thanks because I may have to stretch my range this year as my favorite haunts are dried up.

I'm late to the party, but I got a Strikemaster Lite Flite and love it. Reeds Sporting Goods in Walker, MN usually has package deals on the drill, auger and case.
