For the record flounder and trout are way better eating than red fish.

Here is a couple from the Gulf. NICE! Where in the Gulf? I have a buddy in New Smyrna Beach with a flats boat. We’re going to get after them in Cedar Key and St Augustine the end of January beginning of February

We fish out of Venice, LA. I've also done well on them in and around Lake Calcasieu and Rockefeller Refuge.

Venice is a real mess after hurricane Ida. We moved our boats from Venice to Fairhope, AL before the hurricane and are now fishing out of Apalachicola, Florida.

Not knocking flounder & trout but blackened redfish is hard to beat. That`s a fact Jack !! We use Zatarains blackening seasoning on Shrimp,Red Fish, Red Snapper Grouper, Mahi, Chicken and Pork Chops. On the fish we brush on melted butter then the Zatarains and put it on a hot grill ( griddle ). https://www.walmart.com/ip/Zatarain...WL9YQ6RfFoaAu-5EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

For the record flounder and trout are way better eating than red fish. Disagree on the trout part. And I've cooked and ate a schit ton of them. Lot of water in trout filets. I'll bet that flounder and bigger red that 35 caught will cook up nicely.
