I’ve read opinions here that the jury is not sequestered. How or why are they transported to and from the courthouse via bus?

Are they actually sequestered?

Do they drive to/from a central pickup/drop off point each day?

And at least some of them are scared to acquit for fear of repercussions...........it will be a hung jury, almost w/o a doubt.

Where does the bus take them at the end of the day?

18 stops - 1 at each residence?

That should tell the jury exactly how Rittenhouse felt while being in the heart of a full blown riot and being attacked and why he did what he did. Unfortunately it will be lost on those to scared to convict.

How does anyone know whether any of the jurors feel threatened or have been threatened? It's not like they've been talking to folks about it. Instead, folks are simply repeating what they "heard".
Does anyone have proof that any of the jurors have said a damn thing to the judge about being threatened? Nope.
Does anyone know if the jurors can even hear what's going on with the protests outside? Nope.

You really don't expect an answer to that question at this point, do you?

A blacked out bus driving in a residential area would attract a lot of attention...

If they weren't split on how they want to vote, there'd be a verdict by now, period.

I stated my belief, if you have one feel free to express it; they are not sequestered, therefore they have access to any & all news reports from all sources.

As for them hearing the protests outside, yeah, I'm quite sure they are aware of them............if you think not, then that's your opinion.

In cases of possible high threat risk, juries should be guaranteed
protection for several weeks. Longer if needed.

F'n shame we have gotten to a point of even needing to discuss
it in a (should be) nothing case like this.

It's not the New York Mob or El Chapo.

A threatened jury in huge syndicate trials is...to be expected?
Not a big deal and not a reflection society on the whole.

But to have them threatened in a simple case that's
politically big, that's a sad reflection on the times.
