Had a CB radio in a work truck - sang ''boy named sue'' [put my heart into it] to get the local dump-truck drivers in a better mood seemed to have the opposite effect .

I can not, do either, though I was in a singing group in 4H as a kid. Growing up on a farm there was not a lot of time for non work activities. And when there was spare time, I was hunting or fishing. I wish I could play a guitar.

Piano and could sing, back when young.
Voice change got me deeper sound but limited range bigtime, also affected volume.
I uae to fart arounf w a bass a few yrs back, had Iron Maidens " live after death " over half memorized.
Was fun plugging in a DVD and hammering stuff along.
Proly get another, always liked the low end of piano ( hence the bass ).
Like to play Type O stuff too but need two basses to do both.

I led the choir in Church for a few years, and sang specials (solos) for a lot of years. I play the guitar to accompany myself. The semi-tone deaf seem to think I can sing. I get by. Played and sang in a rockabilly band before I got saved. The people were mostly drunk, and sometimes I was too. Not accomplished at either, but I entertain myself now.

I rather dislike not being able to sing some of my fave songs while driving

Im kinda shy so pretty reserved about such things but at a buds house, who is in a band, i let it go for a bit.
He and his wife were shocked, thought i did better than OK
Two of my adult kids do pretty decent singing. And theyll di it in front of a bunch and not even give a chit...
