But seriously, the sling........ Huge lesson there. He got knocked down to the pavement, drop kicked, & hit in the back of the head with an object. I don't think his right hand ever lost grip on the rifle. But if it had, his sling would have kept it in a reasonable position to be easily regripped.

TWR Campfire Outfitter T Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 10,161	I shoot a lot of M193 and if impact velocity is sufficient and if it hits just right it can break apart creating a nasty wound. Notice a lot of if’s there? There’s just better choices available with fewer if’s.
