Browning choke tubes? Will invector Plus choke tubes fit a gun designed for standard invector tubes? , I’m thinking the answer is no but I’m sure if someone on here would know for certain

No. Invector+ is for the backbored barrels.

No. Standard Invector will take Winchester Win-Choke and Mossberg Accu-Choke tubes as well as the Invector tubes.

In my experience they do with heavy shot loads. With light shot I've never noticed much of a difference. I have both standard bore 12 gauges and back bored 12 gauges. With a heavy turkey load of 3" #5, I get a more consistent patterns with my Winchester SX4 with its Invector + than I do with my Ithaca M37. The difference isn't huge but it is noticable. They're supposed to pattern steel shot better, too, but I don't waterfowl hunt so I don't know about that.

If you ever want to shoot a rifled slug out of a smoothbore, you'll need a standard bore. It doesn't work so well out of a backbored barrel.

This will vary from gun to gun. I have seen several standard bored 12 gauges shoot better than back bored barrels.

Overall though my $$ would be on a back bored gun, especially with larger shot.

Backboring has little if any effect on patterns, but is touted by some for recoil reduction, as well as longer forcing cones and ported barrels. As to patterns, choke and shell make for quality, or lack of it.

The backbored barrels are larger in diameter than the standard invector barrels. If I remember right the standard invector is .728 diameter and the invector plus is .745 diameter.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
