Probably because sports are dumb.
Yeah, because the virtues of athleticism, discipline, health, and team work should not be pursued. None of which, could be applied in real life for individual or societal benefit.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

He died in a plane crash helping his people.
I was 8 years old and I cried at the news.

Roberto is by far my Dad’s favorite ball player. We were constantly being told what a great person and player, Roberto was.

Looking at the site, Way back in the 1800’s professional soccer players were dying from tetanus. Every one of the recent deaths linked were heart-related, the guy usually collapsing on the field.
