Tough times.. Heart felt condolences on your family's losses.... Sad to say, but many of us are wandering into that stage of life, loosing loved ones that we grew up with, looking up to them as aunts, uncles, moms, dads, grandparents... and then one day they are gone... and we take that spot over in our family.. being the older ones.
I am thankful when I see those that have made it well into their 80s and 90s.
I pray there is a heaven, and each of those that have gone before us, are now forever young and only know happiness, love and peace within their existence.
Came to the realization long ago, the body is just a vehicle for the soul and its existence on this crazy planet.
Our loved ones pass, but then they are always with us.
its just hard not to love and miss them when they are gone....
Last time I was back home, I stood by my grandfather's. grandmother's and my brother's graves, side by side, who passed away in 1968, 1959, and 1970.. and recalled them, having passed away 50 to 60 years ago or more. I remember then, but its hard to believe they ever existed. But I somehow felt each of their presence there paying my respects.
Prayers to you and your family members going thru these difficult times. May the peace of the Lord be with each of you in your loss.
