I'd be interested in your cauliflower puree recipe.

Not really a recipe, it I do something similar to this a lot.

Saute one chopped onion, when softened add some garlic, then add a bag or two of rice cauliflower. I then like to add a small amount of liquid to steam it real quick. Maybe 1/2 cup of white wine and 1/2 cup stock or you could just use all stock. Cook until liquid is almost gone. Then puree in blender and add avocado oil. I really like the flavor of it in the preparation. You could use other fat, but I recommend avocado oil. Simple.

Great ideas, timberrunner. I've got some riced cauliflower in the garage freezer. I've made this dish many times, using both fresh and frozen riced cauliflower, but something has always been missing from the taste.

Thank you.

I think I'm going to swing by my Dads, Load up some of his turkey he keeps saying he still has way to much of. Stop by the store and get some Texas Toast and potatoes, and make some open face Turkey Sandwiches. Just layer the toast, mashed potatoes, turkey, and some damn good brown gravy. Just an Idea for those of you with lots of leftovers like turkey and potatoes.

Don't need bread. Just take whatever left and make a seven layer casserole with it. The leftovers are great.

I must be gaining ground

I am originally from Chicago and years ago I brought Venison Tenderloins in for Christmas when in town
My family was kind, but avoided them like they were radio active I never even cooked them I could just tell. I packed them up and took them home

I got a bit salty about it, but now years later

My family comes during the summer they love Venison sliders
We were just in for Thanksgiving and made Venison Nachos none left they scoffed them

I think my favorite was my Sister who seldom cooks asked for Chili meat (which is my ground) she made Chili with meat I left and loved it
It took a while but once they tried it with an open mind they enjoy what I bring and I for sure enjoy bringing it

Into this

Smoked 4hrs after an hour in salt, lemon and dill brine
Making a spread out of it when it cools with Mayo, sour cream, capers, onion, lemon and dill with some old bay. Post pics when I get there.
Made Beef Rouladen and homemade spaetzle for dinner, no pics though.
