I just dumped a bunch of Zep all purpose cleaner and degreaser into my windshield washer reservoir.

Same kind of bottle. Same green color as the windshield washer fluid. Same cabinet.

Failure to read the freaking label.

I'm not going to use the windshield washer at all until I get that reservoir dumped out.

Is it going to be all right?

It's not good for your paint, but it won't harm anything if rinsed off quickly.

I was afraid to run it it through in fear it would eat the hoses.

It's pretty soapy. Dumping it now and rinsing with tap water.

The solution to pollution is dilution.

Garden hose in bottom of reservoir for a few minutes. Overflow on to ground. Problem solved.

Flood the reservoir with a garden hose, let it overflow for a while, then run the washer pump with the water still running.. "The solution to pollution is dilution"!

Dang! beat me to it!

Better than saying you mistakenly used it for mouthwash.

My oldest son has been to China a couple times with his work in manufacturing. He says HF smells like China.

It will probably do a better job than the regular washing fluid!

It's a Tundra and those clever Japanese foresee these things.

Three hex-headed bolts, two electric plugs and the whole unit lifts out.

Dumped the green slime and rinsed with two changes of water. Got Rain-X in it now.

Tell you what, though.

The garden hose would have taken less time.

Dumb schidtery in the garage is worth a thread all by itself. Mine can usually be tracked back 2 or 3 steps where I coulda, shoulda, wouda that ended up in minor disasters. Luckily I have all my fingers and both eyes left.

On the bottom there may be a drain plug.

Where does the pump for this reside in the engine bay??

Might just pull the tube feeding the spurter thinga majigs at windshield and then pump it out by actuating the windshield washer feature on your vehicle

If not

hose in

Turn on

Let run a few minutes
