375 H&H/Ruger (M70, Kimber or Hawkeye)
Ruger single action revolvers
Ruger #1
Montana in WSM or 223

I put this 10/22 together for my youngest boy for Christmas. Should be fun little shooter.

I know the feeling....Iā€™m trying to stay in the ā€œLoonyā€ game, but with optics...At least for now.

Allowing myself the flexibility to change my mind any second.

Bought a G20 yesterday. No more rifles needed at the moment as I have a few that either have never been shot or havenā€™t been shot in a year+.

Dang thing is light weight, and shoots, tight sexy holes.

Iā€™ve played musical scopes on it. Currently, it has a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 sitting. Decent enough scope, but it has covered turrets........The 7 wsm allows plenty of power to dial ranges. Thinking I need a different scope, but I donā€™t want to crucify myself with additional scope weight.

Decision, decisions....

Had a Leupold VX6 on it once....Sold it...wish I hadnā€™t now. It was a nice compromise between weight and dialing. YMMV

I have pretty much infinity rifles, so.....I am building a charcoal burner and hopefully can launch 50 cal hand cast pills with reasonable accuracy past the 500 mark.

Thinking rice tube on a hawken.

Yup, the Zeiss V4 in 4-16x44 @ $699 is my fall back to scope.

Iā€™d like to try a Vortex Razor LHT - been looking for one at a price point that makes me jump...The Zeiss checks a lot of boxes, and the price of course is gtg.

As mentioned on another thread, I'm trying to pick up a Standard Arms Model M pump gun in 30 Remington. The owner and I haven't come to an agreement on price but he doesn't seem as firm as he once was.

Another possibility is an Arisaka Type 38 I found out about this afternoon. If I am reading the marks correctly, it was made in 1909. I'll be looking at that one tomorrow.

Otherwise, I have a 98 Mauser I want rebarreled to 6mm Rem. I currently have a 6mm already but it has a 1:12" twist and it does not like to shoot any 100 gr bullets other than Rem Core-Lokts. It will shoot Sierra Pro-Hunters decent enough but I have only one partial box of those. I figure a 1:8" twist will work well with the remaining 100 gr bullets I have on hand as well as with any heavier or unleaded bullets I might want to use.
