I have its Twin in a safe somewhere around here. I shot a deer with it the year I got it and I don't believe it has left the house since.

I bought the twin to your's from Mule Deer back in 2005. G17229xx.

The one that I shoot is the slick barrel version that I bought back in 1991 and bedded in a 70 FWT stock, G17984XX.

I've shot the slick barrel version quite a bit, 478 rounds according to the log book. 75 grain VMax, 75 grain Sierra HP, 75 grain Barnes Original X, 87 grain Speer HotCore and TNT, and 90 grain Sierra BTHP. The 75 grain Hornady and Sierra bullets shoot great, the Barnes not so well, about 2ish MOA. It was easy to settle on the Speers, HotCore for deer and TNT for coyotes as they shoot to the same POA. Short and handy, just right for calling predators.

Yeah, that's a nice one.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.
