I purchased one of these from another member here. Mounted it on a little .357 Max rifle, sighted in, and as I was shooting the last group to verify something in the scope rattled, the reticle was turned, and the view looked like a spider web. Sent it to SWFA and they replaced it.

I was going to sell it but decided to mount it on a .223 and see how it faired. Sighted it in a few days ago. I'm not real confident in it after the first one.

I know how you feel, I had an old VariX-II 1-4x20 on my 35 Whelen that started to rattle after the fifth shot that didn't find the paper. It doesn't go on any heavy kickers others in the VX series have had no problems on my combo guns with 12ga barrels.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I have one on a Kimber Montana .223. The eye relief is short but usable on a light kicker like the .223. The optical quality is very poor at higher magnification to the point I consider it a 2.5-8x because anything above 8x the image is not very sharp.

Look forward to your feedback after ya' try it out.

I have 2, one on a TacticalSolutions 10/22, and another on a Kimber Montana .223. They seem to work well for what I've asked 'em to do.

I have one mounted on a AR, and have been shooting it for 2 years with no issues. The eye relief does not seem that short to me while shooting.

I tried two different ones both of them had the same issue. I don't know if it's my eyes or something else but I couldn't get it to focus past 8 power no matter what I did.
