I have a 300 win mag that I built on a Berlin made 1909 action. Picked the action up in the 90's from Century arms Iternational. IIRC Any way I never got around to having it checkered . Metal work for me no issue, checkering on the other hand, I might as well use a chainsaw. I'm not looking for anything over the top but something nice that would compliment the Black Walnut Mark V style stock. Anyone have any good rec's. Not looking to break the bank, but I don't mind paying fairly for quality work.

Sherry Abraham has always done great work for me, reasonably priced and no years long wait.
