Normally, we are already using layouts in the fields.
This year, we're not even seeing flocks of geese here yet.
You guys up North in the Pacific Flyway still have lots of ducks, and geese hanging around ?

BWT and Mottled ducks are still packed in on the gulf coast marshes. Be slim pickings once they move further south.

We've had thousands of ducks move in over the past few weeks.
Finally found them, and ran traffic til we can find what corn field their feeding in.
We did ok, getting 14 for 3 of us.

Western Oregon here, VERY few ducks in the areas I normally see them this time of year. It's also unseasonably warm and dry thus far.

Goose hunting however is currently quite good!

I'm heading to Reelfoot Lake in TN tomorrow to hunt Thurs and Friday. Guide said they are only getting 12-15 ducks per day now. My other buddy in heading to Arkansas this week so hopefully the birds pick up.

Talked to a buddy that hunted Big Sandy area and they killed 3 Sat. between 6 guys. Don't look too good as they said they are not seeing many and did not hear much shooting

Talked to a bud who deer hunts near a usually very good duck area in North East Louisiana. He has heard no shooting.

Talked to another who hunts near Tunica, MS. The skies are empty there.
