I been toying with letting this rifle go...so here it is.

A clean Marlin 1953 336-A in .35 Rem 24 inch barrel. The rifle is scoped with a Japan Weaver Classic 2X-7X in Talley low rings. The trigger is light and crisp ( Thank you Marlin Owners) I did myself. Also the rifle has the original front sight hood. The rifle has two flaws, some scratches around the loading gate and a cracked butt plate which has been glued together. I bought the rifle this way.

Here my dilemma: I have over 200 rounds...likely more of handloads using the Sierra 200 gr round nose and the
Hornady 200 gr FTX bullet. The rifle shoots both loads slightly over an inch for 3 shots.

Loads are as follows: 36.5 grs IMR3031 for the Sierra 200 gr. 41.0 of LVR for the Hornady FTX bullet. Once fired brass used for all loads. I'd like the ammo to go with the rifle. I am aware some are reluctant to shoot someone else's reloads. I never hunted this rifle

$750.00 for the rifle scoped. shipping on buyer. Ammo is up for discussion.

If I hadn’t just bought a 760 in 35 rem I would own this.

to address a general question I have received, the "Marlin Bullseye" is there and the sling stud is NOT in the bullseye.

I guess the fact that my wife dropped & damaged her laptop yesterday afternoon, which caused me to spend the evening backing it up and creating a recovery flash drive, which in turn kept me from my usual check for Marlins on 24hourcampfire, meant that I wasn't supposed to have this rifle - man, I'm sad, but somebody got a wonderful Marlin. (thou shalt not covet, thou shalt not covet - got to keep telling myself)

Well, things worked out & I snagged this one from the jaws of defeat. The other buyer changed his mind and it all worked out for everybody (from my perspective, that isgrin. )Thanks, Greg.
