I don't have a photo but my only big game animal with a .22 was an antelope shot with a 22-250 and a 55 gr softpoint Sierra. It annihilated the heart and lungs and I found it in the far shoulder. Otherwise, my main .22 target has been squirrels in my orchard with a .22LR. Last summer I also used it on some rock chucks that had taken up residence in my neighbors wood pile and were invading our place.

I am impressed. I have used those CBs in my 5.5" single six to dispatch beaver at point blank and have had some fail to penetrate.

Bullet fully penetrated the skull and was found about 6” behind in neck muscle. Typical based in my experience.
I am..........disturbed.

Thanks. I appreciate that. They were my first two pups. Unfortunately the female ended up with a respiratory issue last season and died unexpectedly. She was a great cold-nosed dog and a real sweetheart of a dog. Losing her almost made me get out of hounds.

You guys with the lions have me jealous. I finally got to see one in the flesh last year hunting in Colorado and seeing him while he was unaware of my presence at 30 yards was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen hunting. Someday I’ll go run one with dogs.

From this afternoon... .22-250 Fusion 55gr, about 120 yards. VERY impressed with the bullet performance, just under the hide in the offside.

Are those all Tejas pigs Ingwe? I have looked into those hunts a few times but always got sidetracked onto something else. I need to go down there one day and do that.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.
