Anyone familiar with the 7600 trigger locks that came with the gun? It got stuck last year, but was able to get it working with some oil. Now it seems permanently locked up. Can't get it to open. Pile of crap design.

I have lots of trigger locks that came with guns laying around but I don't recall ever actually using one.

Once you get it open throw it away, like you probably should have the first time.

Coworker recently lost the key to his. I showed him how to pick it open. Though "picking" it is a bit of an over statement for what it takes. He was shocked and disappointed how easily he opened it.

If you need to drill it / kill it to get it off, this will help, assuming this is the one.

If that’s the one I bet you could take some freeze spray shoot it into the lock, then bust it with a punch. Those old club steering wheel locks were the shnizzle till that trick popped up. Took the guy all of 2 minutes to break it.

15-20 seconds of hacksawing the steering wheel was the most common method of bypass I believe.

No need, they suck even without the hacksaw. I made this video a few months ago for someone who was contemplating buying one. Better than nothing and maybe an added deterrent, but won't slow down anyone with the most basic skills... or youtube. lol
