I don’t have any issues getting enough 26 in the case for 3150 under a 130 Trophy Bonded. It is one of my best shooting loads in that rifle.

I don't know max with a 130 but here is some info from what I posted a couple years ago. Probably could go a little higher but I was happy with 3150 fps at only 60 grains. Hope this helps.

You can get 3200 with Re17 without going over max.
I have a 40yr old box of Winchester 130's that average 3160.
It is 55.5grains of what I believe to be IMR 4350, I am going to load a few myself to see if it is..
Do your own workup
3150 is not hard to reach in the 55-57 range with a few different powders.
I usually roll with 4831, as I have 40lbs of original 4831 Military.
I wont tell you what I get with 150's as you wouldn't believe it anyway
RL19,Rl22, 7828, H1000 will work as well as many others

I’ve got to look back through my notes, but remember loading up a compressed load of RL26 around 63.5 gr, giving just over 3200 fps from my 20” bbl BAR with Hornady brass - with slight pressure signs but cycling issues.

Keep in mind Hornady brass in 270 Win is 1.5-2 gr H2O capacity higher than Rem, Win, and Fed brass.

That was with a “hot lot” of RL26. My new lot is slower and definitely case capacity limited even with Hornady brass.

I’ve had great success with H4350, IMR-4350, and Reloader 22 with all bullet weights.

You can't go wrong with any of those & add RL-19, IMR-4831 & Norma MRP, as well.

No real need to look further than those.

Me too. My current lot of RL26 is running about 60 fps slower than my previous lot.

I’m using hunter with very good results

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I've always had good results with IMR 4831 and H4831.

My family's Remington's love H4831 with Fed 215 primers, seat the 130 and 140g NOsler ballistic tips to touch the lands and open up a single bullet hole. I have great loads with the R#22 with 130g, but it is slower than the H4831.

130gr federal fusion and honrnady inter-lock over H4350(51grs) or IMR4350(52grs) give almost the same results across several guns. I wanted something that I could duplicate good hunting results across 3 different guns and get similar results. #1 - Browning Bar .270 22" barrel, #2 - Remington 7400 22" barrel and #3 - Remington 700 BDL with a cut and recrowned 20" barrel. I can shoot sub- moa on any gun and POA/POI only moves .75-1" in any direction with these 2 loads, which is perfectly acceptable for me hunting deer out to 300yds+.

130gr Federal Fusion, H4350 51grs, COAL 3.27", Winchester Brass, Federal Large Magnum primers
130gr Hornady Inter-lock IMR4350 52grs, COAL 3.20" Winchester Brass, Federal Large Magnum primers

I’ve gotten success with:

Accurate 4350 and 140g Hornady IL STSP

IMR 4350 and 150g Hornady IL

IMR 4451 and 130g Speer Hot Cor.

IMR 4955 and 145g ELD-X

I’m a newbie. But I’ve had good luck with those so far.

My custom 270 w/ a 24" barrel w/ 7" can pushes 150 gr accubonds at 3000fps with single digit SDs using 7828 ssc and BR primers. Absolute [bleep] hammer on everything i've shot it with (elk/deer/goats). If is could find 4831sc I'd be using it but its practically a unicorn at this point.
