Time to replace my old Stanley. Putting up Christmas lights today which always brings out enough colorful language without a “fail to fire” about every third shot. Any recommendations? Don’t need anything fancy, not looking for corded or battery. Just something that will shoot a basic 1/4-1/2 every time. As the stapler is used over the years the rivets holding the the staple head in line with the striker gets a little sloppy. Resetting the rivets usually stops the misfires. Fixed my two old (made in the USA)Stanleys that way

Arrow JT 21 has never misfired while hanging countless hundreds of targets

I think I made it through one roll of insulation overhead and said Ph uck and went to Home Depot and bought the Milwaukee staple gun. Then again I am a Milwaukee addict and may have to check myself into rehab

Aarow T50 and T75 (for wire/cable) have always been the best. Nailed it. T75 for the win. T50 for paper targets.
