Ambien

Guy at work, on third shift used it.
Prick took it in the evening, kept falling asleep on the way to work.
Sideswiped a telephone pole, on the left side! Ended up in a cornfield.
Had corn and mud all up under his vehicle.
Another time. Woke up in a ditch!

Ask him "Why in thee FUDGE don't go you home in the morning and take
it? You would have all evening to get it out of your system?"

"I like to do stuff in the daytime, sleep in the evening."

Fugger was a pill popping hypochondriac.
Had an Igloo cooler he would lay on its side and open up.
Completely full of herbs and supplements.
Don't think he even needed the Ambien. It was just his way to
control his going to sleep.
He would never tell what happened,
But something finally scared a little sense into him. He quit taking it.

We used to make him go home sick. Just for laughs.

"Dam, you don't look good today. Feeling ok"

"I,I I, I, am feeling a little off. Stomach is queasy, a little peak-ed."

Half hour later. "Hey, you sure you are ok?

"Well, I, I, I, don't know, kinda dizzy."

If that didn't work, get another opinion.

"Yeh, man. I don't think you look good today."

He'd usually go home sick before lunch.

There are 30.000 people killed in auto accidents a year.. I DID NOT KILL OR INJURE ANYONE, Why am I singled out to retake my drivers test again.. I know why the accident happened and I can avoid it happening again.. so stop this BS. it cost me a 32.000 truck.. it was the best truck I have ever owned...It was reduced to a 4000. pile of scrap metal in about 5-6 seconds,, the motor- trannie and drive line was destroyed.. the motor was half way into the cab... But I was basically un harmed, and walked away, what more could you ask of a trucks safety equipment......THANKS GM FOR A SAFE TRUCK TO DRIVE...

The ol ladys grandpa was a judge.
Retired yrs before, would call the license branch to get his renewed
Couldn't pass the test if he actually took it.
Drove til he was 88.
With his checkbook.
Paid for the damage as he went.

No, they aren't. I honk my horn at them. But falling asleep on the way to breakfast at 6AM is something that most certainly should not have happened.

I don't know why you fell asleep and you don't either, but you had better find out why it happened before you even think about buying a new vehicle or driving anything any time of the day.

You could have easily taken out a whole family and I am so glad you didn't for their sake and yours too, but you have to go to a sleep doc, or any doc, and tell them what happened and find out what they tell you.

If you don't and you have another one that does take a life you will be murdering that person. You should know better than that, and I believe you do if you would just stop and think about it.

Hubert, I am very glad you're OK. Not just for you, but all your familly and friends.

The last three wrecks I know about none of the "air bags" deplyed. Two drivers died at the scene.

It’s hard for me to get my mind around people needing something to eat at 6am.

I don’t even begin to feel like eating till about 2pm.

And old people, my wife’s grandparents lived and drove around till they were in their mid 80s.
They get one of them .99 cent kid size cheeseburgers and split it for lunch and be ‘full’

Glad you’re okay, Hubert. Any idea of the speed? I’m involved in airbag design...curious to confirm the airbag deployed as well.

Best wishes,
GW

Son was in a pretty good accident in September. Airbags were great. Saved all 3 of them from injury or worse.
