I hate to be cold hearted during the Christmas season, but saw a news clip yesterday talking about the importance of food banks this year. Interviewed some husband and wife, both 150 lbs overweight. He was around 50 years old and said he was semi retired. She worked full time in food services, whatever that means. They had two what looked like pre teen or teenage daughters, both 100 lbs overweight. All of the decked out in Minnesota Wild gear from head to two.
Im thinking none of them have missed a meal in quite sometime. If the dude was hungry, made he would come out of retirement and get a full time job. Or maybe go to the thrift store for clothes. This [bleep] shouldn’t bother me but it does. There are people who truly need the help temporarily, but it was pretty obvious these folks are gaming the system.
