This barrel is basically new, with a round count of at least fifty but certainly less than 100 rounds. I bought the rifle a few years ago and it shot like crap. I floated the barrel and it shot the two loads I had to experiment with between .50 and .75 for five shot groups. Then I put it away in the safe with the intent of working up some loads, but never did because come to find out I have no pressing use for a .223. The rifle has now been used as a donor for a 6mm project so this barrel is available. $100 shipped and insured, payment by USPS money order.

Vary interesting, I did not know ruger did any RL(ultralight) stainless 223’s. Was this a skeleton stock model? This barrel would look nice on my Hawkeye rl action that currently has a 204 barrel on.

The rifle was made the last year of production before they became Hawkeyes, so 2007 or thereabouts? It had the regular plastic stock.

Somewhat off subject but I bet one of those models should look great in a swapped factory walnut rl stock!

Do you have the stock that was with it? I’m interested, but would need both. To be honest, I would love the whole gun. PM if you have anything more than just the barrel. Thanks
