55 and sunny here today. Wish I had gone shooting. Thank goodness for global warming I say. If it were freezing and two or three feet of snow on the ground I would be hating life.

Roy's storm in Oregon is just starting here. We're supposed to get some minus 15/ 20 temps in the next few days. This snow won't melt off until late March/early April. May have to put the Model A in the trailer and go visit the wife's relatives in Nevada so I can drive it down there.

Upper 20's lower 30's with a couple inches of snow. Rained yesterday but it was mainly freezing rain. Last year we were wading through 2' or better and colder.
Absolute garbage... it's been ridiculously warm and rainy/muddy all month. I've been itching to ice fish for weeks, but we are on pace to break the record for warmest December ever here. Right now we're at an average monthly temp of 39.5° and the previous record is 38.7. The all-time monthly average is 30.6°
At the rate we're going, the ice season is gonna be short, or a total wash this year. 🙄
cold, I forgot to hook up the block heaters on my Dodge diesels. They would start yesterday. Hopefully they will today.

More seasonable today, 32° and dropping at the moment. Got a chance of snow later, but we got a ton of rain yesterday, so the ground is so wet it likely won't stick long. Looks like we'll finally start making some ice this weekend after one more warm bump into the 50s on Friday.
Well, I was going to pull the mower deck and put the snowblower on. But, I'm still sucking leaves for neighbors, paying neighbors. It's rained at least 4 days in a row so not much leaf sucking. Did get 6 cords of Black Cherry split and stacked. I don't want to get caught with the mower still on the tractor. I had it all ready last year with 200 pounds of ballast plus me, and still spun the wheels with the chains on, and ate wholes in my new asphalt. Running 400 pounds ballast plus me this year, see what happens? 7:07 PM and it's 54 *.
Cold and ugly. Tired of working in the unheated garage on the bathroom addition in this schit.
Keep at it Fireball , I worked steady since before last year at this time cold hot and rain . I got plenty done including a 300 straight 6 Ford installed and running real nice ; not to mention an 1899 SRC salvage to rebuild.
