Kinda along the same line. I was working the line at our gun clubs rifle sight in day. had a guy go through 7 boxes of slugs. I could hear
him coming back from checking his
target never put 1 on paper. he ask me if he could put his gun in the club house ,while he drove to town to get more slugs. long story short he comes back with 10 boxes of slugs and starts firing away again at 100 yards. he come back shaking his head,still nothing on paper.I suggested that he move over to the 25 yard range and least get on paper and go out from there. his answer was ,he always shoots deer at 100 yards.I walked away. Would hated to be his shoulder the following day

"You got enny dem shoats"? Old black gentleman came in asking for a box of 22 shoats one time. Poor new girl working register asks me in a whisper what are 22 shoats!!! Another came in asking for some .32’s. Salesman asked him if he wanted .32 Shorts or longs. He says “Jez gibs me da long ones, I snips dem off til day fits!" And they only want to buy 5 or 6!!
