Beautiful old school bullet. I wouldn't call it honkin' big though.

Looks awesome!!! I've got a Lyman 429421 and it sucks (along with my 358429 and 454424)! Arsenal is a contender if I ever get another .44.

Thats a nice looking mold! I've never cast with a brass mold.
I just received a new Accurate mold in 10mm. I have an original H&G 503 mold that I use. Love that Keith type bullet!

I've got two 4 cavity H&G 503's that look for all intents the same mould, except from NOE.
Lyman #2 sure does make a pretty looking bullet from your pic!

Bought my arsenal #358429 used at a gunshow for$40 . It was a good buy but you know a 5 cavity gang mold I couldn't pass. A bud of mine scratched his head and told me I believe that uses a Lee gang mold handle and indeed it does. Once up to casting temp it throws perfect bullets, keep your timing and cadence right 300 to 400 an hour is easy. They are a hell of a buy.

Must have some clean alloy because that's a n8ce shinny bullet. Any idea how thick that front driving band is? One of my 44s doesn't like them much wider than .090"
Thanks, Bb

I’ve got a bunch of 5 cavity Arsenal molds. All aluminum and some of the easiest molds to cast with I’ve ever used. And the most reasonably priced.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I've never been able to get anyone at arsenal to answer a call or return a message. I've been wanting a 10mm mold from them but I'm starting to wonder if it's ran by a younger person whose afraid to talk on the phone. I may have to go elsewhere because I need a question answered before I order.
I'd like a 180 to 200 g 40 cal wfn but I want it to step down to .390 just as the ogive starts. I like the bullet a bit narrower where it engages the lands. Some other companies offer that but I'm not sure if arsenal does.

Mathman , I am a fan of the arsenal molds. Down to Colo Sprgs back in May for the annual SCA show. I scored a 4 cavity Lyman #429421 with handles for $100 and thought that a good buy. Sometimes a guy gets lucky..mb
