Who makes bottom metal for a Model 70 now? Blackburn? Williams?

I have Burgess bottom metal on my 300WM, but I don’t think it’s available any more. That would be my first choice if I could find one.

I have a Sunny Hill alloy Obendorf. Beautiful. Will definitely use more in the future.

PTG if you want it in aluminum to save weight. Basically all I use though I'm sure the Sunny Hills and Blackburns are nicer.

I have a PT&G blued steel Oberndorf on my M70 FW. Called them, didn't order on web, and they were very helpful and got it to me promptly.

PT&G would be an absolute last resort.

I also am pleased with Sunny Hill Obendorf, aluminum bottom metal installed on a model 70 classic magnum action custom build.

I have been between Sunny Hill and Blackburn myself. Seems like Sunny Hill is the more popular choice. Thanks for your feedback

I have a Williams Obendorf on a pre-64, very nice but unfortunately no longer available. I think for pre-64 the options now are Sunny Hill or Blackburn.

For post-64 Classics I have several PT&G aluminium Obendorf and a Williams blue steel.
