On film. He's been extremely shy over the last 4 months, he finally sat on the suet long enough to have a picture or ten taken. Gold finches are around constantly as long as I keep the sunflower seeds filled. Camera body is an old Canon EOS Rebel XT, lens is a Sigma 150-600mm. We usually have the Sigma on a newer Canon EOS. Still impressed with the picture for such an old camera. Did do a bit of post processing to adjust the exposure a little to compensate for a dusty window.

Nice capture. They're a lot like gray squirrels as the try to place themselves on the opposite side of tree when one is around.

I watched on for quite a while a couple of weeks ago. He was feeding on something in the cracks on the bark of a willow tree, about 5 ft from my deer stand. I did know exactly what he was at the time, so when I got to the house, I got on the computer and looked it up. Neat bird. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

Put out some mealworm suet and this guy stopped by this morning. Happened to catch him as I wandered up to freshen up my coffee. Haven't seen him around before, but neighbor says he's been on their suet quite a bit. Red belly woodpecker.. Makes me wish I had more time to sit and watch the birdfeeders.

Handy little Canon SX740 HS. I always have it with me when hunting.
I am working on using a Olympus OM-D E-M5 III with 14-150mm just received from CameralandNY.
I will keep trying and learning.

Good shots but need some more substantial glass on the front end.
