That's why we have hopes of keeping her going. This one has lots of Delco parts, Holley carb, Bendix brakes...damn few things that can't be cobbled up with a NAPA interchange catalog.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Sounds like a cool father/son gig.

Have fun, make some memories.

Carry a wad of spare cash... very little a few bennies can't solve... if Jacksons can't.

Post pics.

Trump stickers removed, sidearms, maps. Advice sought.

Why I would have added more.

Make sure all your trailer lights work, drive carefully and legally, don't give 'em ANY reason whatsoever to pull you over. Down and back, don't dither.

I rode in one for about 10 miles on a badly washboarded gravel road. Driving down a railroad track on the ties would have been more comfortable.

Don't carry cash to pay for it. If he gets stopped, the crooked cops can legally call it drug money and confiscate it. It's been done many times. This law is one of the biggest travesties of justice in this country.

See the dentist before you go. It’s good to have comprehensive dental records on file.

Have a good trip!

a friend of mine had a 60's vintage IH 4x4 3/4 ton. gave to son who promptly sold it.
friend and i thought about jointly disowning son.
son today highly regrets selling it. for sure, it was a ball breaker to ride in

Stockton or Bay Area?

Stockton is fine as long as it's not in the Congo section of town. Bay Area you're on your own.

Good luck!

Hill folk are generally conservative. You'll be fine. Volcano is a cool old mining town. My grandparents lived in nearby Pioneer.
